Download Tumblr Photos with LitchiSoft: Step-by-Step Tutorial
What you’ll need
- A Windows or macOS computer (assumed).
- LitchiSoft Tumblr Photo Downloader installed.
- A Tumblr blog URL or post URL containing the photos you want.
- Stable internet connection.
Step 1 — Install and open LitchiSoft
- Download the installer from the official LitchiSoft site and run it.
- Follow on-screen instructions to install.
- Launch the app.
Step 2 — Locate the Tumblr source
- In Tumblr, open the blog or post containing images.
- Copy the blog URL (e.g., https://example.tumblr.com) or specific post URL.
Step 3 — Paste URL into LitchiSoft
- In LitchiSoft’s main window, paste the copied URL into the input field.
- Choose whether to download from the entire blog or a single post (select the appropriate option).
Step 4 — Choose download settings
- Destination folder: set where images will be saved.
- File naming: pick a naming pattern (timestamp, sequential).
- Image quality: select original or resized if available.
- Concurrency/thread count: keep moderate (4–8) to balance speed and stability.
- Filters: enable to skip GIFs, small images, or specific file types if needed.
Step 5 — Start the download
- Click the Download or Start button.
- Monitor progress in the app’s status/progress panel.
- Pause or cancel if necessary.
Step 6 — Verify and organize
- When finished, open the destination folder.
- Check for any missing or duplicate files.
- Rename or move photos into subfolders (by date or post) if desired.
Troubleshooting
- If downloads fail, check the URL and network connection.
- Ensure LitchiSoft has permission to write to the destination folder.
- If Tumblr requires login for private content, log in via the app if supported or use an authorized session.
- Update LitchiSoft to the latest version for bug fixes.
